KITCHEN ASSISTANT
The House of Retreat is looking for a Kitchen Assistant for weekend
and Bank holiday work.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE:-
* An understanding and willingness to work within the ethos and
lifestyle of the Oblate Community.
* Flexibility in working hours.
* Good communication skills.
* Garda Clearance essential.
DUTIES:
The Kitchen Assistant will be expected to carry out the following
areas of work:
* To assist the Chefs in cleaning and preparation of food and
vegetables.
* To work in pot wash area.
* To wash up kitchen equipment, delph and cutlery.
* To clean food preparation areas, cookers, ovens, worktops,
fridges, dry goods storage areas, walls and floors.
* Compliance with food hygiene standards EHO. QA and HACCP standards
and overseeing the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen and
pantry.
* To ensure that all Health & Safety Regulations are observed.
